This is a full blown movie poster of Sharika being a movie star. The Hindi movie posters completely inspired this painting. Here she is being a movie star but with a towel on her head!
As time passed, however, she hated the idea of being a star in Hindi movies. So she changed her mind about her future profession and decided to become a writer.
My mother, who is a tapestry weaver, really liked this painting. She made a beautiful tapestry based on it that is just the same size as the original. It is included here.
