Green is the child of the blue sky and the yellow sun, it is the colour of fresh  growth and youth. Green is the new blade of grass,  and the baby leaf in spring! This colour belongs to a bright future.  Many species eat green. Its smell rejuvenates the mind. 

I love painting with this colour.  All I need is one inch of dark  green,  one inch of white and a bit of yellow paint from the tube.  I then quickly dip my brush in the green and dab the canvas.  Without cleaning the brush, I pick another colour and touch it to the canvas and repeat.  Each stroke becomes another leaf on a tree. While working with water colour or acrylic paint, I use water instead of white to mix with it. Then use the same easy process while overlapping the brush strokes.

Green and water walk hand in hand in all life.
